The SKF shock absorber guide unit is equipped with a "monobloc" type seal for ease of maintenance and improved performance. Recommended for standard reconditioning and/or for improving the performance of the shock absorber. Indeed, in an OE guide unit the guide unit comprises several components (stop, seals, washers, etc.). When these components are refitted, small air cavities are trapped, resulting in emulsion during operation. As it is of the monobloc type, the SKF unit limits this emulsion. The assembly is therefore more stable in operation and performs better over time. Advantages: Simple to install. Reduced friction. Increased performance and reliability.
