About Seat covers
Grip and material
An off-road seat cover needs to give you hold when you slide forward or back, while keeping moisture out. Many covers combine a grippy section on the top or sides with a smoother area that lets you move around easily. The X-GRIP Baboons Butt seat cover, for example, focuses on extra grip when riding seated and standing on rough terrain.
Team and replica designs
BOANO offers seat covers in team and replica designs, including versions for TM 2T/4T and for Beta RR and X-Trainer, plus covers with a printed insert for the Yamaha Ténéré 700. MOOSE Racing supplies seat covers for a wide range of off-road models. Pay close attention to the model years for each design, as the seat shape can change between generations.
When to replace and how to fit
- Replace the cover when it is torn, the seams have split or the material has worn smooth.
- Check the foam at the same time: if it has sagged or become waterlogged, replace it as well.
- Fix the cover to the seat base with a staple gun, working from the centre outwards so it sits tight without creases.
- Select your motorcycle in the motorcycle selection and check the article number on the product page for the right fit.
