Which wheels fit my bike for a supermoto conversion?
For every major motocross and enduro bike we supply matching 17 inch wheel sets. Our REX (Haan) and SmPro-Talon wheel sets are brand-specific per platform: KTM, Husqvarna, Yamaha, Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, GasGas and Beta. HAAN Wheels also offers universal wheel sets where you can choose the rim, hub, spokes and nipples separately. Use the year/make/model finder at the top to see matching wheel sets right away.
What is the difference between a 3.5 inch and a 5.0 inch rear wheel?
The width of the rim determines which tyre you can fit. A 3.5 inch rear wheel is the classic supermoto choice and takes tyres from 150/60-17 to 160/60-17. A 5.0 inch rear wheel is wider and suitable for 180/55-17 or 180/60-17 race tyres such as the Pirelli Diablo Superbike. The 5.0 inch option gives more grip for circuit use, but is heavier and more expensive. For normal road use and track days the 3.5 inch is fine.
Which tyres are best for supermoto?
That depends on your use. For track days and racing, slicks such as the Pirelli Diablo Superbike or Supercorsa V4 are the standard, choose SC2 medium for most track days. For road use the Diablo Rosso IV is a popular homologated sport tyre. Riding road with occasional circuit? Then the Supercorsa SP V4 is the best in-between: road legal with near race-level grip. Standard supermoto sizes: front 120/70-17, rear 160/60-17 or 180/60-17.
Do I need a larger brake disc for supermoto?
Strongly recommended. MX bikes usually have a 260 mm front brake disc tuned for loose surfaces. On tarmac with the grip of supermoto tyres you want more braking power. The standard upgrade is a 270 mm or 320 mm floating brake disc from Moto-Master. With our wheel sets you can directly add a matching Moto-Master Supermoto Racing Kit or Brake Conversion Kit as an option. It includes the disc, adapter and mounting hardware for your specific bike.
Does a supermoto conversion fit my 2-stroke?
Yes. Our wheel sets fit both 2-stroke and 4-stroke motocross and enduro models from around 125cc. KTM EXC, SX, Beta RR, Husqvarna TE, FC, Yamaha YZ, WR, Honda CR, CRF, Kawasaki KX, Suzuki RMZ and GasGas EC, all available. Check the product page for the exact model years that fit or use the fitment finder.
Do you also deliver to Belgium, Germany and other EU countries?
Yes. We ship daily within the Netherlands and Belgium and also deliver to customers in Germany, France, Austria, Luxembourg and the rest of the EU. Wheel sets are carefully packed in extra sturdy boxes to prevent transport damage. Shipping costs and delivery times are shown clearly at checkout.
