About Arrow Slip-on Exhausts
What does a slip-on do?
A slip-on replaces only the end silencer behind the mid-pipe. The original headers stay in place, so fitting is relatively easy and can often be done yourself with standard tools. Your bike sounds fuller and sportier and you save weight, especially with a titanium silencer. If you want to go further later, you can extend a slip-on with Arrow headers or a mid-pipe. Check the product description to see whether your silencer fits the original mid-pipe or needs an Arrow link pipe.
Which line suits you?
The Race-Tech is the all-round choice with a carbon end cap. The Thunder is compact and light, popular on supermotos and lighter bikes such as the Honda CRF 300 L. The Pro-Race and GP2 have a short, minimalist race look that suits sportbikes and naked bikes; the GP2 also comes in a Dark version. The X-Kone stands out with its conical shape. For adventure models such as the Yamaha Ténéré 700 there are Indy Race, Indy Race EVO and Explorer silencers, among others.
Material and finish
Arrow slip-ons come in titanium, aluminium and nichrom. Titanium is the lightest and takes on a nice heat colour. Aluminium is light and a good middle ground. Nichrom is a strong, heat-resistant steel. Many silencers have a carbon end cap, and some lines have a dark finish.
Approval and fitment
Type-approved versions are marked as approved in the product title; keep the dB killer fitted with these. Racing versions without approval are for track and off-road use. Select your bike in the motorcycle selector at the top of the page to see only matching slip-ons, and compare the article number and model years with your bike.
