About Camera mounts and tripods
Filming with your Quad Lock mount
Want to film instead of navigate? With an action camera adaptor you can put a camera with a standard action camera mount on the same Quad Lock mount as your phone. That means you don't need a second system on your handlebars. You use the tripod with selfie stick next to the bike, for example to film your ride from the roadside, take a group photo or shoot the intro of your vlog.
What's in this collection
- Tripod/Selfie Stick: a foldable tripod that doubles as a selfie stick.
- Tripod Adaptor: a tripod adaptor for your phone.
- Camera/light adaptor: for attaching a GoPro or other action camera, or a light.
- 360 Action Camera Head: a head for GoPro and action cameras that lets you point the camera at the angle you want.
- Action Camera Adaptor: the adaptor for mounting a GoPro or other action camera on your Quad Lock mount.
Which one do you need?
- Want an action camera on your handlebars? Start with the Action Camera Adaptor.
- Want to adjust the camera angle yourself? Look at the 360 Action Camera Head.
- Want to set your phone up as a camera next to the bike? Then you need the tripod and the tripod adaptor.

Things to check when mounting
Everything in this collection works with the Quad Lock system. That consists of a case or universal adaptor on your phone and a mount on your motorcycle. If you don't have a mount yet, take a look at the phone mounts for motorcycles. You'll find a matching case or adaptor under phone cases and screen protectors. Also check your handlebar diameter: Quad Lock handlebar mounts are available for 22, 25, 28 and 32 mm, and there is a solution for a fatbar.
Do you use your phone itself as a camera on the handlebars? Then a vibration dampener protects the OIS camera (optical image stabilisation) from engine vibrations. You don't need one for an action camera.
Also check the rules in your country for using a camera on your helmet or bike and for operating your phone while riding.
