Choosing the number of teeth

The number of teeth determines the gear ratio of your motorcycle. You can find the standard OEM teeth in the workshop manual. More teeth on the rear sprocket give faster acceleration but lower top speed; fewer teeth on the rear sprocket give higher top speed but slower acceleration.
