The Alpinestars Tech 5 sits between the Tech 3 and the Tech 7 in price and protection. It has an abrasion-resistant, water-resistant microfiber upper, a polymer core structure around the upper, a biomechanical medial pivot and a replaceable dual-compound sole. A well-balanced motocross boot for riders who spend a lot of time on the bike.

This version is the Black/Grey/Fluo Yellow colourway, Alpinestars part number 2015015-1055. Available in EU sizes 40,5 to 47.

The Tech 7 has a double pivot, a wear indicator in the sole and more TPU protection. The Tech 5 costs less, is comfortable and offers solid protection for training and hobby riders.

Is the Tech 5 suitable for enduro?
Yes, the Tech 5 is widely used for enduro and trail riding. The sole is a motocross pattern; for extreme terrain an enduro sole like on the Tech 7 Enduro works better.
