All Race Star brake discs have an aluminum core, which reduces their weight considerably. You can also see that they are fitted with the new bolts treated with hard anodising that are already present on the rest of the NG discs. In terms of design, the new NG Race Star discs stand out from other discs both in terms of the color of the track and the orientation of the ventilation holes. The color of the track is due to a special heat treatment that gives this distinctive iridescence on the steel that will make your bike stand out from the rest. In addition, you can also see that the ventilation holes are not perpendicular to the track, but oblique to the plane and are arranged in sets of three in each direction. This feature provides greater ventilation of the disc and, in conjunction with the specialized heat treatment, prevents the material from reaching excessively high temperatures that could lead to deformation of the disc.
