This Seat Concepts Comfort Foam & Cover Kit replaces the foam and cover of your stock seat. You install the new foam and cover on your own seat pan. The kit is designed for DIY installation, but an upholsterer with motorcycle seat experience can also do it for you.

The foam is much higher quality than stock: more plush and active, with the support you need. The Comfort shape keeps a similar contour to stock at the front, so your legs are not spread further apart, and widens towards the middle. Your weight is spread over a larger area, so you last longer on long rides.

On this model the front of the seat is built up and the rear slightly dished out. This levels out the seating platform and reduces the sliding-into-the-tank feeling.

Rear seat: a matching Foam & Cover Kit for the rear seat is available, wider and slightly dished, with a built-up front to reduce sliding forward.

Is this a complete seat?
No. You get foam and a cover (Foam & Cover Kit) that you install on the seat pan of your stock seat.

Can I install the kit myself?
Yes. The kit is designed for DIY installation and comes with clear instructions. You need a staple gun; Seat Concepts recommends T-50 stainless steel staples no longer than 1/4 inch. You can also have it installed by an upholsterer with motorcycle seat experience.

Is a lower seat just as comfortable?
A Low seat has foam removed, so there is less foam than in a Standard seat and it may feel a bit firmer. Choose Low only if you really need the extra reach to the ground.
